The Canadian Cancer Society is doing a walk for cancer on this Sunday Oct 2nd at 7:00am - 11:30am at the Forks. 

These are the roles of the volunteers

1) Route Marshal Team Lead

•       Manage Route Marshal Team

•       Provide guidance to participants along route

•       Eyes and ears on the route to assist event organizers

2) Route Marshal Team

•       Direct and encourage participants throughout the 1k and 5k routes

•       Provide guidance to participants with directions and ensuring they obey event rules and signage

Rotaract Club x Bear Clan Patrol.

The Bear Clan Patrol is a Winnipeg based organization that focuses on crime prevention! They carry out a variety of community work including aiding the homeless, food distribution, helping secure shelter and much more! 

We are welcomed to walk with the Bear Clan Patrol and learn more about the heart of Winnipeg! 

It will be taking place on Sept 29th, 5.30 pm at Broadway Neighbourhood Centre, 185 Young Street.

Meet up with the others will be at the back door closest to the skating ring and please wear closed toe shoes.
